HotDealsNearBy.com ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy while providing a free platform to discover local deals and enabling business owners to list promotions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information, including when you use our services via our website with Google or Apple OAuth authentication. Our service is free, with optional paid advertising for businesses to feature deals on a subscription basis in specific cities.

Update your account details at any time through your account settings.
Opt out of non-essential marketing emails through your account preferences. You cannot opt out of essential account notifications such as security alerts and account actions.
Disable real-time GPS in your device or browser settings at any time. This may limit location-based features.
Disconnect your Google or Apple account by revoking access in Google Account Settings or Apple ID Settings.
Opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Extension or via your cookie preferences in the Platform footer.
Update cookie consent choices at any time via the cookie preferences link in the Platform footer.
Request a copy of your personal data or correction of inaccurate data by emailing support@hotdealsnearby.com with subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days for general requests or as required by applicable law.
Request account deletion through your account settings or by emailing support@hotdealsnearby.com with subject line "Data Deletion Request." Your account will be deactivated for a 30-day grace period during which you may reactivate it. After 30 days, deletion is initiated and completed within 15 additional days (45 days total from your request). See Section 9 for data retained after deletion.

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined by CCPA/CPRA. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this practice ever changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and notify you before any such change takes effect.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights. You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or receive a different quality of service based on exercising your privacy rights.

We will not process requests from agents who cannot provide all three forms of verification. If verification is incomplete, we will contact you directly via the email address on file to request additional information.
We will respond to verified CCPA requests within 45 days of receipt. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary for complex requests, with prior notice. Real-time GPS is not stored after your session ends. IP-based location is retained up to 12 months for security and fraud prevention.

Google Analytics data is retained for up to 26 months per Google's default settings. You may opt out at any time via your cookie preferences.

The Platform is not directed to persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform as stated in our Terms of Service.

It is your sole responsibility to maintain a valid, deliverable email address on your account. Failure to receive notice due to an invalid or undeliverable address does not invalidate updated policies or provide grounds for objection.
